When they reappeared in the drawing room, Kanen-Tal and his crew had joined them.  Upon hearing and seeing the value of the cards, he wanted nothing to do with the obviously ‘Chaotic artifact’ but the others kind of chided him to take a try.

Remember boys and girls, never give into peer pressure where a Deck of Many Things is involved!

Lucked out and had a large group come to the game.  This included the return of Rage Claw and Lilith as the player was taking a break from his other hobbies to put gaming back in the rota.  I’d run him through a short 1-page dungeon to get them some gear and xp so they were 3rd level by this point.

In the mists, Kenan-Tal told Long Tom about Claude’s offer.  Everyone talked it over, weighing the risks and the benefits.  Long Tom would bring Lysander back, no matter what and Anika and Cronyan were both willing to take the risk.

In the mists, the characters debated what to do when they returned to the garden.  Bruna (the military strategist) realized that if they all lay down, even if they were put to sleep, they would stay on the ground.  So they tried it… the mist deposited them face down and though half the party fell asleep, no one fell into the grab grass.
